April meeting – Photogrammetry with Marcus Abbott – CANCELLED

Our April meeting is going to be a combined theory and practical session on photogrammetry with Marcus Abbott. Marcus last came to see us back in November 2014 for our first photogrammetry session, and we thought it was time to have him back for a refresher and an introduction to newer members.

Rather than me try to explain what photogrammetry is there is the inevitable Wikipedia article here, and Marcus’s website explains more about what he does in imaging and visualisation.

We’ll be starting at 1.00pm this time to give ourselves time to get to grips with how photogrammetry works followed by a practical session taking lots of pictures and producing a 3D image. Bring your camera (and some sandwiches if you like). We’ll have the usual tea, coffee and biscuits.
