April Meeting – Rob Liddiard on Anglo-Norman East Anglia

Our next meeting is on Saturday 16th April at 2.00pm in Broome Village Hall, Sun Road, Broome NR35 2RW.

We’re very pleased to welcome back as our guest speaker Professor Rob Liddiard from the School of History at UEA, who will be talking about Anglo-Norman East Anglia, Form, Function and Status.

Those of you who came to Rob’s talk on the wartime defences of East Anglia last year will know what an entertaining and informative speaker he is, and this time he’s going to be talking about the day job, the buildings, landscape and structure of medieval East Anglia. This promises to be a fascinating afternoon, so please come along.

All welcome, admission is £2.00 for members, £3.00 non-members, and we will have the usual refreshments.

(We published the date wrongly as 17th April in an earlier newsletter. It is definitely Saturday 16th April.)
