After our last two excellent talks from Carenza Lewis on the Black Death and Lucy Wrapson on medieval rood screens, we’ll be jumping forward a few hundred years for an update on our Great War Hidden Commemoration project on (almost) the hundredth anniversary of Armistice Day.
We’ll also be bringing news of our programme of events for next year. One thing we’re planning is a pottery identification course run by Suffolk Archaeology CIC, which some of you have asked about. This event will cost about £20-£30 a head, and we’ve included a very short questionnaire here to try and get an idea of the level of interest if you wouldn’t mind just clicking through it.
We’ll be meeting at Needham Village Hall, High Road, Needham, IP20 9LB on Saturday 10th November at 2.00pm. All welcome, members £2.00, non-members £3.00. Refreshments will be served.
