On Saturday July 6th we’ll be holding our pottery identification workshop at Wortwell Community Centre.
We’ll be in the capable hands of Richenda Goffin, Finds and Post Excavation Manager for Cotswold Archaeology Suffolk. If that name is unfamiliar to you, on April 1st Suffolk Archaeology became the the East of England branch of Cotswold Archaeology.
You can find out all about it and book your tickets on our Eventbrite page. It’s going to be a fascinating session and we’ve timed it so that it’s not too far ahead of our return to field walking at Syleham, where there is much late medieval pottery to be found.
