And More for June

In addition to Matt Champion’s talk on June 2nd on the Paston Footprints project, we’ve got two other events you might be interested in. Well, we hope you are.

On Saturday 16th we’re going to Suffolk on our Seven Sacraments Fonts expedition with Dominic Summers following his fascinating talk in the dim dark days of January. We’re limiting numbers to fifteen for this event, so please book your place on our Eventbrite page. You’ll find more information there about our proposed itinerary and meeting place there too.

The day before that, Friday 15th June, St Andrew’s Church at Bedingham have asked us to come and talk to them about the magnificent and important collection of medieval and post-medieval graffiti in the church. This follows the talk we did there in 2016 and should have taken place last year, but the bees took over the church instead. Jess Macdonald, Jason Kercher and Andrew Macdonald will be doing the talk and pointing out the graffiti. This event is organised by St Andrews, so if you’d like to come along the booking information is on the poster below, click to enlarge.
